Perhaps of interest and better than the first letter which said THEY were correct: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your email dated November 15, 2014 regarding the billing of the captioned account. We apologise for the delay in our response and any inconvenience this may have caused. We acknowledge your concerns with the most recent billing of the captioned account and are more than willing to review same via the next available actual reading. The meter for the captioned account is scheduled to be read on November 22, 2014 and as such, we will be able to finalise our billing review within five (5) days after this date. We advise that a bill may be reviewed either via the next available actual reading or findings of a meter investigation. If the disputed bill is incorrect then the next available actual reading will indicate this by carrying a negative consumption or comparatively low/high consumption. With regards to the calculation of the disputed bill, we advise that same was done via actual reading that was obtained on October 25, 2014. As per your claim of lesser usage at the premises during the disputed billing period, a review will be conducted and advice of the respective findings communicated to you via email within the shortest time possible. We acknowledge full payment (my parenthesis- actually I only paid a part) of the disputed bill and thank you for making same pending our response/billing review. Thank you for contacting us and providing us with the opportunity to serve you. Do not hesitate to contact our 24-hour Customer Care Centre at 1-888-225-5577 (LIME), 1-888-935-5577 (Digicel) or visit our website at myjpsco should you have any further queries. Yours sincerely, (name deleted, my parenthesis again) Customer Care Representative Jamaica Public Service Company Limited
