Persecution is meant to hurt as well as silence Gods people; however, God uses it for His glory. Consider the following results that come from being persecuted: #1: it allows us to share in the sufferings of Jesus (1 Peter 4:13); #2: Our loyalty to Christianity is tested and proofed; #3: it furthers the gospel (Phil 1:12). The Bible teaches us, as Christians, that we are to stand strong (Eph 6:10), Endure the opposition, love and pray for our enemies. The truth is, wherever the church has endured persecution, it has grown because people see how believers respond and want that kind of life as well. Best of all, Jesus told his followers to rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven shall be great!!!! (Matt 5:12) Dont give up, fellow soldier of the cross. We are in this for the long haul. Together!
