Persistent, Perfect, Practice will surely lead you toward your goals. Chipping away at a big goal by breaking it down into small actionable steps that can be taken each and everyday will ensure that you stay on track and keep yourself motivated. One of my personal favorites is from author Tim Ferriss, who recommends writing down 2-3 actionable steps that can be taken each day to help you work towards a specific goal you have in mind, whether that be in your career, hobbies, financials, relationships etc. For example my 3 goals I set for myself today were 1) complete all of my mobility drills that go along with my current training program-Check 2) complete my cost accounting midterm- check and 3) to make a post on this page- check. It is easy for us to get caught up in the pursuit of a goal and become easily overwhelmed by the amount of work and effort that is required to achieve it. But by setting yourself a quota of just a couple of steps per day that steer you towards that goal, it will break that seemingly insurmountable target into smaller bite sized pieces. I hope this post has sparked some motivation inside you to start figuring out what small steps you can start making to chase after a lofty goal you have set for yourself. Keep on evolving, Brad
