Phil Rockstroh On this anniversary of the largest terrorist attack in the history of humankind (er…human-most-unkind) -- the 68h anniversary of the dropping of a nuclear bomb on the civilian populations of Hiroshima, and shortly there after Nagasaki, acts that the U.S. government withheld crucial details from the U.S. and world population, using the fraudulent claim of…"for reasons of national security", this much is clear and should be remembered in light of the Obama administrations machinations in regard to the massive cult of secrecy known as the national security/surveillance state: Governments lie and they do so in direct proportion to the secrecy in which they are allowed to conduct their affairs. For example, after the nuclear attacks on Japan, the U.S. government claimed the acts saved the lives of, perhaps, 100, 000 American soldiers who would have been deployed to invade the Japanese mainland, when the truth is, the Japanese had been secretly attempting to surrender all summer long, and the U.S. motivation for using nuclear weaponry was to rattle the Soviets.)
