Philip James Philip was born in Ipswich and has lived mainly in East Anglia. He began studying art with a GCSE in Ceramics, followed by a BTEC in Art & Design, at Braintree. He studied for a degree at Central St Martins, London, and later, a course in Leisure Learning at Suffolk College. Philip started painting full time in 2010, first with acrylic & then oil on canvas. He joined the Ipswich Art Society in 2011, and was also a member of the Ipswich Photographic Society, exhibiting with them for nearly 2 years. He said I put all my efforts into painting and am very happy to have joined The Freudian Sheep. Were very happy to have Phil back with us for a second time. The artwork illustrated here was in our last exhibition, but relates well to the three new paintings Phil has included this time around, which we have yet to photograph.
