Phillies broadcaster Tom McCarthy, doing game from centerfield seats last night, makes a nice catch of a home run off the bat of Braves Freddie Freeman. With the chance to take a stand against the moronic practice of throwing back a visiting teams home run ball, a piece of baseball history, he instead allows himself to be talked into throwing it back, to be a weak follower. Youre an idiot, Tom, as are all those who do this. I WILL NOT debate this. Bitter Cub fans were the only ones to do this (for decades), before the new wave of unoriginal fools that go to games now picked up this foolish practice about 5-10 years back. (P.S. The South Side of Chicago is the only place I have seen defiantly the ignore this stupidity, with NO ONE throwing an opponents home run ball and NO ONE yelling at someone to throw back an opponents home run ball.)
