Photographs of American Revolutionary War veterans? Astonishing! I stumbled across series of such photographs in a National Geographic collection some years ago, but with the passage of time I began to question my memory. So I Googled it, and though I didnt find those, I did turn up several sites with similar pictures. The age of photography arguably began in the late 1830s, and the last official veteran didnt die until 1866, so a lot of them did have their pictures taken in their dotage.
