|| Pick of the day || 1980 Triumph TR7, £3,250. After initially being released in the U.S, where it proved so popular demand twice caused Triumph to delay the cars U.K debut, the Triumph TR7 was released to the British public in May 1976. With a 105bhp 4-cylinder engine powering the rear wheels and independant coil spring suspension, the Triumph TR7 was a competant sports car if slighly controversial due to its characteristic wedge styling. A convertible version of the TR7 was released in early 1980. Known as the Triumph TR7 Drophead, this model was again released in the States before reaching the British public, with the States receiving the car a year before the Brits in 79. This example of the TR7 convertible has been in the family for 24 years and claims to be in excellent condition. It was last road taxed in 2003 and since has only been displayed at special occasions. In excellent mechanical condition and very clean inside and out, it has a tonneau cover which has had little use. classiccarsforsale.co.uk/car-advert/triumph/tr7/1980/266427/
