Piglet, our newest foster kitten who was born this morning, is doing all right. We think Piggie is a he and he and his mama are relaxing together while Piggie gets another meal. Were really hopeful that our new, very young mama is getting into her role as a mother so we dont have to intervene. Piggie is getting his colostrum in his mothers milk which is a vital part of the development of his immune system. The colostrum is only in the milk for about a day so this first day is the most important. Three cheers for Piggie and Winnie...we know you can do this! #JustBorn #Birthday #KittenAssociates
