Pineville City and Ward Marshal Larry Jeane has died. He was 68 years old. He died from injuries sustained in a crash Friday afternoon. Witnesses say he was slumped over the wheel when he crossed the centerline and hit another car. Jeane was in his third term. He was the first warden for the work training facility north, which is now shuttered. And later headed up the Allen Correctional Center in Oakdale. He leaves behind his wife and two children.
