Please; I dont really wanna come on Facebook and write but this thing is disturbing me yet I know some dwarfed-brain ones will still claim to be wise by a quarter by challenging it. Nigeria is truly a slave island. The Britons that named it a SLAVE COAST then because most of the slaves of the New World were from here were apt. A meeting was called by the UK government on her colonial past and representatives from the Carribeans and Africa were there. Mau-mau victims as we all know have got an apology and compensation. Britain is about doing that for most countries in Africa though she knows it will be very exasperating apologising for that heinous and dehumanising past. Well, Im not interested in stories of reparation and apology but only interested in what the Nigerian representative said. Hes the representative of President Jonathan and when everyone stood firm on demanding the apology and maybe reparation; the Nigerian representative said he doesnt believe Britain will have to do this. That it seems hes dreaming; why will Britain decide or want to apologise? He said he never thought Britain will have the courage to do that. Can you imagine that? When other African nations are demanding daily, mounting pressure on Britain, even Gaddafi collected €5billion from Italy which was one of his albatross; Nigeria is saying she cant believe it. Welcome to the slave island where fighting for your rights is a mirage and if others fought and get it, it becomes a miracle.
