Senate File 2606 We need to make a few calls and send out e-mails to the Environment and Energy Committee; they are hearing the bill to increase the size limit on Muskies statewide to 55 inches Senate File 2606. Let them know how valuable Muskies are to us; biologically, socially and economically, if you have a business that is Muskie related let them know as well. We have testified in favor of this bill, so far the only opposition is the Darkhouse assn. The MN DNR is not opposed and will remain neutral on the issue. We need to let these public servants know that these fish are valuable and deserve the added protection for the growth and sustainability of the fishery and well as the sport. It passed the sub-committee hearing last Thursday and has moved on. The top 4 senators cannot be contacted by e-mail we must make the call, the others you can copy and paste into your email, tell them who you are where you live and you support Senator Hoffman’s Bill SF 2606 The hearing is Tuesday and we need your support today, if you get an answering machine leave your message, please make the e-mails, we may not get another chance at this.
