Please do not believe everything you hear from, or read in, the media. Look at the facts. This man was leaving - - - he was walking away - - - was asked (by the shooter) where he was going, turned and looked back at the shooter, then turned his back to the shooter to continue walking away. He was then attacked from behind - - and then - - - he was shot and killed. The shooter, somehow, despite his claims that he was protecting himself and his property, did not dial 9-1-1, yet was able to manage to get video and audio of portions of the incident. The shooter is not being prosecuted by our District Attorney, under the guise that this murder somehow fits into our Make My Day law. It does not. There was no unlawful entry, thereby making Make My Day null and void in this case. All we are asking for is support to have an impartial entity re-examine ALL of the evidence. These laws exist to protect us as citizens against criminal activity in our own homes, not as a cover for pre-meditated murder.
