The Pixi Stix (a team of 5th grade girls) are competing in the First Lego League Robotics competition on Saturday December 6th at WPI and are hoping to advance to the State Championships again this year. The challenge this year is to redesign how we gather knowledge and skills in the 21st century. The girls decided to improve on the process of teaching young children about safety. Their research led them to the idea that when middle school children teach pre-school children, that the younger students are more interested and involved. They have created the following funny videos on Crossing the Road and Stranger Danger.
