Please help if you can. No donation is too small! Animal Protection and Education Association, Inc. APEA has taken in two emaciated nursing moms with twelve little pups over the last couple of weeks. Only one of these little cuties even has its eyes open. We rescued 18 dogs and one kitten from the Lucedale shelter Friday to avoid them being put to sleep. Fourteen of the Lucedale dogs are puppies from four litters ranging from six to twelve weeks. We also rescued three sick kittens earlier this week. We are in great need of good quality kitten, puppy, dog and cat food for all of these animals. Please donate food for these fur babies if you can. We have an Amazon wish list with food items. You can also donate food items in APEAs name to T and N Feed Store in Ocean Springs or to the farm. Well be glad to have someone meet you if you dont live near the farm in Vancleave. Weve had to vaccinate all of the animals from Lucedale and will need more vaccinations for the next two rounds of puppy shots. We will also need vaccinations for the twelve teeny tiny pups that are still nursing. We will be setting up a you caring account to raise money to spay and neuter the dogs from the Lucedale shelter.
