Please ladies and gentleman (not only for you but for the ladies in their lives)....self breast exam is very important, please read this article...this is an epidemic that everyone needs to be aware of, you are your first line of self defense and education is your best weapon...I was very young when my mom battled double breast cancer that had spread to her lymphatic system, young enough that I was in first grade when she had her mastectomy surgeries(age 6 or 7)...I was blessed to have my mother for over two more decades before we lost her to pancreatic cancer in 2011...At her funeral the very sweet woman that had driven my mom over an hour one way for multiple chemo treatments was there (Jeanie Scott Bridger Montana) the first thing she asked me was "did your mom ever give up fighting?" we had moved from Bridger MT to Laurel MT in 1988 when I was 11...my answer was "no she never gave up!" Jeannie was so happy because she could remember my mom saying "I still have three kids to raise!!" constantly, it had become a mantra for my mom, whether she knew what a mantra was or not!
