The details of this arrangement would be discussed and managed directly with the sponsoring family if an agreement is made: Alexis, alink@alexislinkmd Roco is an 8 year old Chow Mix who has been at the South L.A. shelter since July. He is a delightful and spirited dog who loves belly and head rubs. He is AMAZING with people – gentle, sweet and eager to please. He rides well in the car. He enjoys lounging and watching television, as much as he does running circles in a yard. If a foster is identified, Roco will be professionally trained at Pete Rodrigues’ residential program in Moorpark, CA to increase his comfort level with other dogs. The financing for training has already been arranged by the sponsoring family, but a post-training home foster is needed thereafter. Without a foster in place, he will not leave the shelter. Roco is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He has no known health problems other than “stiff legs” which do not seem to be a great bother to him.
