The Amanzimtoti Trader is for buying, selling, trading, requesting information, advertising local businesses, traffic accident reports, recommending local services and networking lost & found pets. Funny video clips, weather updates, inspirational quotes, DIY ideas, ‘free giveaway’ links, and photos of cute critters belong on your PERSONAL PROFILE. 1. Healthy debate is welcomed. Racism, bullying, derogatory comments, religious or political views, foul language, nit-picking & slander are PROHIBITED. Repeat offenders will be banned without warning. 2. Name & Shame posts & complaints against individuals or businesses will be deleted without warning. 3. Businesses reported for slandering their competitors will be banned from the Trader. 4. Issues relating to Rule 1, 2 & 3 are to be brought to the attention of the Admins, Deena Parker Buys or Carol Lane, via inbox, tagging on the post or by reporting the post or comment. ADVERTISING, REHOMING and Sale of ANIMALS 5. The advertising (sale, re-homing, ‘free to good homes’) of ALL ANIMALS by PRIVATE individuals is strictly prohibited on the Trader. 6. ONLY registered shelters, SPCA’s and rescue centers are allowed to place adverts for the adoption, sale or re-homing of animals/pets. PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS 7. Private individuals may post adverts at any time. However, in order to prevent the group from being ‘spammed’ a photo album must be created should you have multiple items for sale. 8. A price MUST be included with ALL for sale items. This includes individual items in an album. 9. This is NOT an auction site. ‘Make an offer’, ‘inbox for more info’ and auction posts will be deleted without warning. Repeat offenders will be banned. 10. Posts related to warning members of the location of ROAD BLOCKS are strictly prohibited. 11. Links to Gumtree, Olx and other for sale sites will be deleted. BUSINESSES 12. ONLY local, family owned businesses are allowed to advertise on the Trader. 13. National companies, chain stores and franchises MAY NOT advertise on Trader’. This includes car dealerships, estate agencies and internet ‘adplacing’ sites. 14. Members may not link groups, websites & pages to the Trader unless permission is FIRST obtained from the Admins. GENERAL 15. This is an OPEN group which means EVERYTHING you share here is visible to ANYONE with internet access. 16. Membership is at the discretion of the Admins. 17. Information provided by members is not independently verified by the Admins.
