Please say a prayer for my step-grandson, Daniel Cochran as he is a very sick boy with viral myocarditis. He has been checked at our local childrens hospital twice in the past two weeks - he is VERY SICK! His other grandmother who has custody of him sends me info all the time and I send texts to her and to Daniel all the time. This is the update she sent me so far. 1. He has myocarditis 2. He has to wear an event monitor (not a halter monitor) that contacts a monitoring center in real time 3. He has flu-like symptoms that are NOT related to the myocarditis (just a coincidence that he got sick now) 4. As long as they can safely wait, they will monitor him for a full 30 days. If anything funky happens they will go to the next step. 5. After the 30 days is completed they will come up with a treatment plan. I have had someone ask if they could send him a card and that would be awesome! We have a long way to go and it would really lift his spirits if he got some happy mail, so please feel free to support him with some. They said no school for now so he will need something to keep his mind off of everything.
