Your elected representatives have worked very hard to portray the voice of the members in our current proposal. We believe it to be a very good proposal that will allow us to execute on solutions to many of the very old problems that have been plaguing our organization. It has also been exciting to see so many who have been away from SHPE nationally for so long, suddenly become passionately involved in the discussion around the merger. While passionate, there have been far too many misleading statements and incomplete assessments based on partial information.
