These homeowners received work to save themselves money on utility costs, many of them getting free insulation in their attics. Aside from the low income families, we went into over 100,000 homes performing energy assessments, installing free light bulbs, pipe wrap, shower heads, and faucet aerators. In the commercial department, we saved over 70,000 megawatts statewide in businesses. Thats enough savings to power Evansville alone. This is very important to act fast. Legislature has fast tracked it through the house and the senate may vote today. They are trying to avoid opposition of the bill.
