Pleeeeeeeeease do your research before you consent to circumcision. 100+ boys die from circumcision every year. The risks include: hemorrhage, amputation of the entire head of the penis, disfiguration, painful adhesions that require future surgeries, infection, extreme pain during and after surgery, shock (nearly all babies... this is why they sleep so hard afterward), and later: uneven circumcision resulting in a bend, tight painful erections, numbness of the head due to constant exposure, erectile dysfunction (4.5x higher), etc. Only 50% of boys are circumcised. Looking like dad is not medical necessity. Circumcision is a cosmetic procedure and illegal in most countries. Urinary tract infections are more common in girls, should we circumcise them? Circumcision, should it ever become medically necessary can be performed later, it cannot be undone.
