Under 20 Boys Callum Saunders Quinn Karwowski Dylan Vile Nick Blakiston Under 17 Boys Thomas Westend Under 15 Boys Callum Caughey Chris Grammer Under 17 girls Georgia Catterick U 13 boys James Greer Connor Guillemot Joseph Westend – all from Fairhall school will also contest the Bernard Ferguson Time trial at Levin . Thanks to all the parents who are heading away with the team – they usually have as much fun as the kids… Following that the Yunca tour of Southland will be attended by Dylan Vile ,Ethan Batt and Georgia Catterick. The club is supporting these junior riders at both events and we have enjoyed great success in recent years so best of luck to them. Weekend Racing Pelorus Cup this weekend up the Northbank -hope the rain stays away . The committee had a discussion last week about the use of cones to mark corners as detailed in our Traffic management plans. All riders should familiarise themselves with the road layouts and where cones will be on the course prior to each race as rider Safety is our main priority .In saying that we will continue to look at the placement of cones to ensure they are making minimal impact on riders – but they will at all times comply with our Traffic Management plans and best practise to maintain rider safety. Committee Vacancies It was with regret that Warren Hall advised that he is moving on from his position as Secretary to concentrate on his new position as head of the Board of Trustees at Whitney Street School. Warren has made a tremendous contribution as Secretary to the club and we will miss his wise counsel. At the same time Mark Grammer has also resigned from the committee- he will continue to put in a huge workload in Junior Cycling . We are looking to fill these vacancies If you are interested in helping out as either Secretary or on the Committee please let me know as we have a great group involved who have achieved a lot to date.
