Poem I wrote in 2013, never considered posting it but someone just messaged me asking if Ive tried writing poetry. If you think this is about someone you know, youre wrong, I guarantee. Take it for face value and yeah... I dont really write much poetry, Im not sure how this turned out.. -------------------------/-// The grass was so long and beautiful But it hid the snakes within Your scars were self inflicted Of the lies placed herein We had a past so promising So how it came to be You left me in the dark But I could clearly see Youre not untouchable And karma will keep track Of the words you said The people you hurt You actually turned your back? I know its pathetic, But I too feel So Im publicising to the world That it was never real I guess youll never see this Youd never want to know But this is for me, my conscience I wanted something to show. Id like to think youd come back with that amazing smile But behind your lips Your teeth were gripped For a damn long while You gave me your trust I gave you my word Your secrets never told But now Im tempting to expose the lies about how your heart is cold. Posting this online just says a lot about me I guess Im vain and Im not perfect I hope nobody wishes to be me So Ill finish it here to clarify this I wrote this in anger on October 25th Before you start To accuse me one bit Remember, I have feelings But I honestly couldnt give a shit.
