Pokèmon State Championships If I were more gracious Id move on but Im not, so Id like to share my thoughts. Im aware of the judging incident with the Juniors concerning a spectator (Junior players father) bribing a Junior player for the outcome of the Junior Championship. Im not a Pokèmon Professor and can not act in any capacity but I have read the rules and was privy to more than I cared to be. To have allowed play to continue with no action taken by the Head Judge or Organizers was negligent as it unfairly affected the player being bribed. From my understanding of the rules its about as serious an offense as there is. Disappointing to see it handled this way as it ultimately affects all the Juniors play and results. And leaves question to the accuracy of judging thru-ought the tournament. Unfortunately it reinforces the perception of the gap between serious tournament players and everyone else. In all, the official inaction to apply rather than interpret the rules impacted the Juniors without the recourse or respect that they deserved.
