Police are appealing for information after an 88-year-old woman was injured by an intruder at her home in Bomaderry overnight. Emergency services were called to Barwon Street about 4.30am today (Saturday 27 September 2014). The woman, who resides alone at the house, told police she heard sounds coming from the rear of the residence. She went to investigate and found the back window open. As the woman returned to her bedroom, a male intruder confronted her in the hallway. He pushed her to the ground before entering her bedroom and going through her belongings.
