Police are currently investigating an attempted robbery at the Mobil Service Station in Heretaunga Street, Hastings. At about 8:30 pm on Tuesday the 29th of July 2014, a masked man has entered the store and armed with a knife, confronted the attendant and demanded money. When his demands were refused the male has left and run down Heretaunga Street toward Havelock North. The male had covered his face with a bandana or similar and was wearing a distrinctive green hoodie.
