Police clueless about missing girl Srinagar, June 21: Police is clueless about the 2 years old girl child who went missing on Thursday outside her home in North Kashmir’s Pattan town. Reports said that Zeenat Ashraf daughter of Mohammad Ashraf Rather from Buchoo Pattan visited her neighbourhood as usual. “She left for home and we thought she had reached there but we shocked to learn from her parents that she was missing,” her neighbor told CNS. Parents registered a complaint in police station Pattan and soon after Station House Officer Pattan Mehboob Bandey dispatched different police teams to trace the girl child, however all their efforts proved futile. “Our police parties searched for the missing girl in orchads, forests and we went from pillar to post but she could not be traced,” SHO Pattan told CNS adding that so far police is clueless. He further said that there is a quite possibility the girl child might have slipped to death in a nearby nallah which flows adjacent to their house. “We are looking for the child and hopefully we will trace her,” he said.
