Officers from the Special Inquiry team at Scotland Yard have now opened a criminal probe into the actions of Lord Hanningfield and others. - Lord Hanningfield, jailed for expenses fraud, was exposed for regularly ‘clocking in’ to the House of Lords to claim a £300 daily attendance allowance despite spending minutes inside.
