Police misconduct when it comes to preventing the public to exercise their first amendment right in Burlington, Iowa isnt a new thing. Earlier in August, Detective Jeff Klein and Officer Eric Short from the Burlington Iowa Police Department threatened a civilian in the city that they would take their phone from them and cease it for evidence. The man displayed that he was on the sidewalk. Whats worse is that The Hawk Eye, a local newspaper company, had taken similar photos of the incident and were published in the paper the next day. The officers involved think that harassing and threatening a civilian for recording and taking photos is okay but isnt for a local newspaper. youtube/watch?v=Hs3Eu_RYlJE
