Pollution, a Honey Moon and Worldview! For years when I point out a gorgeous red sunset or golden moon, Id often get the bubble bursting response, Pollution causes it to look like that! Id think, WELL, THANK YOU LORD FOR GLORIOUS POLLUTION! One persons gorgeous sky is someone elses pollution! Were there no red sunsets before the industrial revolution?!!! Red sky at night, sailors delight is an ancient saying back to the 1st century when Jesus said, When it is evening, you say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.(Matthew 16:2) So the sky was sometimes red in the evening 2000 years ago when there was no industry and the population was small. The dust in the atmosphere was not man-made in the first century. Does natural pollution even make sense? Is it pollution if its caused by natural processes? If there were no particles floating in our atmosphere, how would life change?
