Pomp and Circumstance was a piece of music written by Sir Edward - TopicsExpress

Pomp and Circumstance was a piece of music written by Sir Edward Elgar for the Coronation of King Edward VII in 1901. But in 1905 Elgar received an honorary doctorate from Yale, and the march was played in his honor. Of course after Yale did it, Princeton did it, then the University of Chicago and before you knew it, it was THEE song to graduate to. I heard this version today from the Proms 2014 in Great Britain, and it made me think about that great moment when you finally get your degree! Enjoy this version, and Ill see you at the next Central Florida Commencement (4/4/15)! youtu.be/R2-43p3GVTQ
