Pope Francis & The Children Of God: We Are All Sinners Chances are, by now, youve heard about the stunning move Pope Francis made on Friday when he broke tradition and shocked thousands of the faithful-including his own master of ceremonies. What did he do?! Basically, Pope Francis knelt down before the public and confessed his sins to an ordinary priest! According to a report from Reuters, Francis addressed an audience of thousands in Saint Peters Basilica, saying, Who can say he is not a sinner? Nobody. We all are.” Afterward, he was supposed to join 60 priests around the massive church in hearing the sins of the faithful, but he had a very different plan. In one single, brilliant move, Francis exemplified the true teachings of Jesus by humbling himself to demonstrate to his Flock that no one ... no one should be held greater than the least of us. So, what would I say if I had the opportunity to speak with the Pope myself and tell him what I think of his extraordinary action? Easy ... Jesus himself already put it quite eloquently: Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God, AND Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the Children of God. Amen.
