Popular game 1941:Frozen Front finally arrives on Windows Phone! 1941:Frozen front is a very popular Android game with 56000 votes in the playstore with an average rating of 4 star.It was announced for Windows Phone way back in July 2013 and now after 1 year, its finally available on Windows Phone! So,what is this game about? This game focuses on turn based hex-like strategy jumping directly into World War II.There are 2 modes supported right now, -Campaigns -Pass and Play Online multiplayer will be added in future updates. The game is free to play with IAPs and offers 24 campaign missions(including tutorials) which are intriguing for strategy+simulation lovers. The gameplay is good as well.Players begin each mission with a variety of units: infantry, tanks, artillery, planes, and more. You’ll move each unit across the map’s hex grid, uncovering the fog of war as you search for the enemy. Each unit gets one attack per turn, so you’ll need to consider whether it will survive an attack (the game tells you how much damage both sides will take) before assaulting an enemy unit. So,what puts me off? Even though this game is very good, there is something you should know. The in-game banner ads are VERY ANNOYING.They cover almost 1/5th of the screen making the screen look really small and obstructing the gameplay(see image below). The ads are live throughout the missions which is distracting. Handygames really should decrease the size of the banner ads,I know they earn money through those ads but the least they could do was to decrease the banner size. However, you can also opt to remove the ads for $1.99 All in all,it is a good game and you should at least give it a try.It is free to play, download size is 18mb,512mb ram is supported and it requires no active internet connection: windowsphone/en-us/store/app/1941-frozen-front/532307b8-a0ae-4946-af0a-fd1bdb89f630
