Position Title* : Manufacturing Equipment Engineer 3 Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products. Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 5 years related experience Proficient with MS Office Knowledge of Wafer Fab chemicals, gases, and processing equipment. Must have ability to write technical specifications and papers. Must be able to read blue prints and schematics. Must be able to stand, sit, walk, stoop and reach frequently and for extended periods of time. Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination. Must have excellent attention to detail. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must have excellent knowledge of MS office. Knowledge of CAD a plus. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
