Possessing the Land July 10 I do so hope that your faith has dared to go up and take possession of the land to which the blessed Spirit has evidently been calling you. Doesn’t the Bible tell you that it is already yours in the mind of God and only needs your step of faith upon it to become actually and experimentally yours also? Isn’t purity of heart what is meant by Rom. 6:6 and 11? And isn’t it necessarily true that just as the presence of light drives out the darkness, so the indwelling presence of Christ must drive out sin? But just also as the room cannot presume on the absence of darkness and think it need no longer admit the light so neither can the soul presume on its purity and& think for a minute it can do without the presence of Christ. Every moment, Lord, I need The merit of your death And every moment, Lord, I have The Merit of your death. I cannot tell you how much I long to see you enter into all the blessedness of this life of perfect trust. The absolute submission of your will is the first step and that is accomplished. Now let the precious cleansing blood of Jesus do its perfect work in your whole being, by faith claiming His life as your own.
