Being a complete slave to my figures I personally will simply work with my top three, who have won on the going as currently described and take what comes on the chin. I mentioned, in the podcast, the record of Richard Fahey runners in this and also the stats relating to the kind of horse we should be looking for. A particular horse was mentioned as a definite e.w. play at the time we did the “show” but this morning PERSONAL TOUCH has done a veritable song and dance act across my paperwork. The ratings suggest, quite correctly, that this one has little chance of success but as was also mentioned, this race throws up the unexpected year on year and if this one screams home, I’ll not be at all surprised….just poorer.
