I exist on Facebook to put the badmouth on conservative thinking from the perspective of a psychologist....with the bent that the conservative mind is an organ that is, so sadly, deprived of a well-functioning anterior cingulate cortex and suffering an oversized amygdala (our fear center--why the fear bell, when rung on Fox News & other hate disseminators resonates so well in the minds of conservatives. Victims of this pathology (or should I be more polite and say, condition?), as well, are most often impervious to facts [evidence provided in the very controversial 1950s book THE AUTHORITARIAN PERSONALITY (ISBN-10: 0393311120 ISBN-13: 978-0393311129). I wont festoon your FBK page with all sorts of personal stuff....and I am not on every day....but when I do go on I try to limit my expostulations to scholarly stuff----especially to refute fabrications of the minds of conservatives whose frequent lies (often the just repeat stuff they read / see / hear without any research because they fully lack any sense of intellectual curiosity (they are simply like repeater stations) or their otherwise twisted views. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, as the old song goes, Thank You For Being My Friend. I send you, each & all, a big hug and a a Drs order....focus on the positive, investigate that which you hear, and BE HAPPY!!
