Praise the Lord, What a day… Thank-you to all our FRIENDS and Family for praying today. The Notes have been so encouraging to Denise’s Family. THANK –YOU Remember us the next few days. We will have a Family meal after the services on Tuesday. Please feel free to come and encourage them. My Mother-in-Law thanks-you so much. William Leon Stringfield, age 80 of Huber Heights, entered into Heaven on Saturday, July 13, 2013. He was born on September 4, 1932, the son of the late, Gather and Zora Stringfield. He is preceded in death by his brother, James and sister, Cora. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Norma Jean Stringfield; children, Denise (Doug), William Kyle, Glenn and Chris (Robin); grandchildren, Michelle (Tim), Stephanie (Kip), Cody, Jessie, Brandon, Ashley, Sullivan, Matthew and Mark; brother, Gather Wiley (Janet); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. William loved his country and proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years, after which he worked Civil Service for another 17 years. He loved his family dearly, loved the Lord and was a member of Grace Baptist Church South where he served while he was able. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel (414 Needmore Rd) with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:30 until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be made to the family at newcomerdayton.
