Praises for the blessing of clear scans! We will continue with blood work every 3 mos and CT scans every 6 mos and port flushes every month. For now, Im just not ready to get it out. It is still working. Another blessing is that the nurse got my IV (for the scan) on the first stick. That was a huge blessing. My heart is still full thinking of the young woman and her mother that I talked to today. She is so very young and her children are too. Now, I shall get on my soap box. If you or someone you love has surgery to remove a tumor, you are allowed/encouraged to ask your surgeon, do I need a consult with an oncologist? OR I WANT a consult with an oncologist. I am not saying that everyone NEEDS chemo or radiation but it is ok to ask! I so appreciate the love and prayers youve shared.
