Prashants write-up on our bicycle tour of eastern Arunachal Pradesh in November 2013. Obsessed with running away from the savagery in the city during Diwali celebrations, eight of us cycled 750 km in three districts of the beautiful state. We visited two international borders with China and Myanmar, and also had the privilege of riding over 20 km till Lake of No Return in Myanmar, while doing the historic Stilwell Road stretch built during World War II. Alhad Godbole sir ignited the idea of the expedition and the ride wouldnt have been possible without the support of newly found friends like Manash Pratim Gogoi, Nelson Tessa and scores of others leading a blissful life away from social media!
