Pray without ceasing: Even though the immediate meaning of the statement pray without ceasing may be praying repeatedly and often, it may also mean that the spirit of dependence on God within us should permeate all we do. This is the very spirit and essence of prayer. We can therefore posit that, even when we are not consciously speaking to God, there is a deep, abiding dependence on Him that is woven into the heart of faith. That there lies within us such a huge consuming passion for Him that keeps us conscious of His presence in our lives. In this sense, we pray or continuously keep the spirit of prayer. Praying without ceasing may also mean staying expectant and not giving up on prayer, no matter how long it takes before the first thing you prayed about comes to be. Resist the temptation of wanting to cease to pray. Never let yourself to get to that point in your life where you cease to pray at all. It is a very delicate point of ones life. Never abandon the ever faithful God of hope just because you havent seen the answer to your prayer. Simply keep praying, keep trusting, keep hoping, keep standing in the faith, and at the right time, God will surprise you with an answer, shalom
