Charlie Dills passed away today (1/17/14) around 4:15PM at UC Hospital. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he crossed over into Heaven. Please keep his entire family in your prayers in the coming days. This person is still being searched for. Taylor is now home,but having Nightmares. Please continue to pray for Isaac Goodman who had a 3 hour surgery on Tuesday at Christ Hospital and is now at home to recuperate.. He will be off work for 8 weeks. Please pray for Tim Rose who has been admitted to the hospital at St E.He had Bypass surgery as well as a valve replacement in his heart and all went well. He had pins and screws put in today 1/10/14 and hopes to go home from UK Med Center tomorrow. Please say prayers for Diana Rutan Seamans mother Pat Jenkins , she has had multiple mini strokes and has a leaking valve in her heart. The effect from the strokes wasnt as bad as it could have been although she has lost most if her sight and is having short term memory loss, all of her limbs are working. She is currently in Florida but will be returning to KY later this week. Please pray for James Thomas as he continues to fight an infection. Please pray for Tammy Mann who was supposed to have had back surgery 1/14/14 at Christ Hospital was unable to have it so it was postponed until this Friday at Christ Hospital!. Home health nurses will be coming to his home to help care for the wound on his leg wounds are healing great, but feet/ankles still swollen. Scheduled CT for calcium scoring on heart- May find fluid around heart. He may have a hormone in the thyroid not working that regulates the water/sodium intake, which leads to the swelling. So better, yes and more test. Blood pressure and blood sugar levels are looking better and he has dropped some weight. Please say a prayer for Wilma Greene who seems to have given up on life. She is Beanna Bixlers Mother and she seems to have lost the will to live. She is a patient at Grant Manor. Please send her a card or stop in and see her if you can brighten her existance in some way. Pray for Elnora Howe as she continues to have health issues. Pray for Hazel Gordon. She is in the hospital with an infection and fever. Taylor Caudill is home again after her fall. No additional serious injuries. Please continue praying for healing of her leg, ankle, foot and vertebrae and for healing for her 3 legged dog Marley as he learns to adjust Please pray for Debbie Hatfield. She is currently on life support and I am sure she and her family could use all the prayers they can get. Silas suffered a stroke on Friday and suffers weakness on his left side. Please pray for complete recovery from the transplant and the stroke. Please pray for her and when you see her wish her good luck. The date has been postponed until after her sons wedding in April 5. She has to have several tests and get ready for the wedding then recovery from knee replacemnt surgery is not I repeat not a picnic so she will wait until after the wedding Please pray for Ada Mae Kearns wife of Eddie Kearns. She has been in the hospital for quite a while at St E Edgewood. She started out with heart problems and now has kidney failure and is either on dialysis or may have to go on dialysis soon. Be in prayer for Chris Williams, grandson of Kathryn Harmon, (Revas son). was transported by ambulance to a Lexington hospital for extended stay care where he will be closer to his family. Unfortunately, they said this may happen again as long as he has pneumonia and his trach. Prayers for Claude Kinman, who was admitted to the hospital with chest pain. I believe they are doing tests on Monday.... if anyone knows more... please update. His younger sister Brenda, lost her battle with cancer in November and his bro. Julian passed last year..... it has been a very stressful time for the family Pray for Matt Wessell .Matts surgery to amputate his left leg between his ankle and his knee was Wednesday 1/8/14 @ 1p @ St. E, Ft Thomas, Ky. He is ok with having this surgery in order to start healing in the hopes of getting a prosthesis and start walking again. Please focus your prayers on having a safe surgery with a good outcome. She still cant put much weight on it....25% of he weight. But when she goes back in 3 weeks the doctor indcated he might let her put weight on it then.Now if she will behave 3 more weeks! Please remember Gloria Hankins in your prayers . She is in her own room once again at St. Elizabeth Edgewood. Had surgery Sunday morning to debriede the wounds.... Please keep Judy Osborne in your prayers. She has 3 nodules on her thyroid that doctors are watching for changes or growth. They will be doing frequent MRIs to monitor her and if there continues to be no improvement,they will be stopping treatment. He didnt give a time frame for this.Please pray for the entire family. I would also like to pray for our students, they are challenged daily by their peers and want them to stay strong in their beliefs and their faith! Please say a prayer for Richie Farmer who made several mistakes during his role as leader of the Ky Department of Agriculture and now will be serving a prison term of 27 months. Pray he will learn from this sentence and God will heal his life. Pray for his 3 young children and his family as they endure this with him. JUST A THOUGHT: But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. Titus 3:9 ESV Years ago, I thought that everyone needed to believe the same thing that I did, and I could make a convincing argument. Yet, not once that I remember did I actually convince anyone of anything except to avoid me when they saw me coming. It is great to witness but when you reach a point of disagreement, and it is clear that neither party is going to change their mind, move on to the next topic. It is perfectly fine to disagree. We are all wrong about something and no one needs our approval to go to heaven. Be nice, be loving in your conversation. Do yourself a favor today and just let disagreements go. If they are wrong God will fix it sooner or later and adding more words will usually just broaden the gap between you and them. It is fine to agree to disagree. God wants you to know that ...God is there in the midst of the chaos.When everything in life turns upside down, remember that you are in the hands of the Creator. Look to God, and youll always know which way is up. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
