Tristen suffered head trauma and a broken back and has a long road back to the 6 year old he should be. Theres a lot of painful therapy to endure. We have just found out that she also has a fracture in her spine and her upper arm is also broken. She does have complete movement in her hands and feet. Please pray for Pam, Nancy Austins younger sister who was in an auto accident last week.She is at UC and she has been some what responsive but is on a ventilator. LOTS of broken bones and a LONG way to recovery. She is not breathing entirely on her own, they are trying to bring her off that. Just not sure how its all going to come out.I know God can work miracles through prayers so I ask you to pray mightily for complete healing. I know prayer works. Pray for a man named Mike who has been placed in hospice and for his sister, Connie, who works with Mona. Please pray for Lawson Henderson who has the flu and pneumonia. Also pray for his wife Pat who is no doubt worried about him. Please say a special prayer for Wilma Phillips is still at St E Edgewood. The surgery went well. Please continue to pray since she is still immobile and weak following surgery last Wednesday. She is on a liquid diet at present. Please be in prayer for Sandy Vought, wife of Ron Vought a former deacon of our church. She was admitted to hospital a week ago Tuesday and had abdominal surgery and was doing very well until Sunday. She has swelling from her waist down and was being moved to a larger hospital for further diagnosis yesterday. Pray that the doctors there will be able to find out what is going on. Debbie Brewer could use our prayers as she starts treatments for Invasive Mucinous Carcinoma. It is rare but if you are going to have breast cancer this is one of the better ones.At least with this type of cancer with the surgery and treatments she has a chance of seeing her grandchildren grow up Please pray for Eden Jackson who is having some testing done. Please be in prayer for Curtis Shelton who is having his teeth pulled due to infection in his mouth and will have to have several implants. Please keep Maurine in your prayers also.Curtis saw Dr. Greg Sutton today. We like him very much. Surgery set for Feb. 26 unless they get a cancellation. He is feeling better today after 5 doses of antibiotics. Will see Dr. Sheridan again on Thursday and Dr. Scott. I will let everyone know of any new updates. Keep praying! Please be in prayer for this family.Dallas and Brooklyn Howell along with their grandmother, Theresa, were involved in a terrible car accident. They are currently in the ICU at Cincinnati Childrens. Dallas has some bleeding in his brain and some liver issues right now. Brooklyn has a serious brain injury that has caused permanent damage.Please be in prayer for Brooklyn Howell. MRI of her brain is showing some areas of decreased swelling and some blood that has already been absorbed by her body. The MRA of her arteries showed improvement in the area where there was narrowing (this is the area that could have blood clots and she would have a stroke). Its still not in great condition but there is no way we can treat it right now as the cure would be blood thinners. With the bleeding in her brain putting her on those would cause much more serious health problems than a stroke. We will repeat the MRI in a couple of weeks to see any further improvement. Brooklyn is coughing up the last bit of mucus from being on the vent. Today was the first day she heard my voice and actually followed some of my commands. One doctor said it may be like watching grass grow. Please pray for patience and positivity for us. Continue to pray for Evonne Catton who has pneumonia. Please pray for Emily who has a brain tumor.She is the Girl Scout determined to win the top seller prized even though she cant get out to sell the cookies. A 40 ft utility pole rolled over Buddys leg and broke both bones in the lower part. He had pins and screws put in today 1/10/14 and hopes to go home from UK Med Center tomorrow. Please say prayers for Diana Rutan Seamans mother Pat Jenkins , she has had multiple mini strokes and has a leaking valve in her heart. The effect from the strokes wasnt as bad as it could have been although she has lost most if her sight and is having short term memory loss, all of her limbs are working. Please pray for Tammy Mann who was supposed to have had back surgery 1/14/14 at Christ Hospital was unable to have it so it was postponed until this Friday at Christ Hospital!. She still cant put much weight on it....50%of he weight. But when she goes back in 2 weeks the doctor indcated he might let her put weight on it then.Now if she will behave 2 more weeks! They will be doing frequent MRIs to monitor her and if there continues to be no improvement,they will be stopping treatment. He didnt give a time frame for this.Please pray for the entire family. Please say a prayer for Richie Farmer who made several mistakes during his role as leader of the Ky Department of Agriculture and now will be serving a prison term of 27 months. Pray he will learn from this sentence and God will heal his life. Pray for his 3 young children and his family as they endure this with him. It had been a great place to work for years and I had planned to retire there, but it was not meant to be. God had other plans for me. In our lives things come and go. People, pets, careers, houses, cars, churches, pastors, friends, all can be here today and gone tomorrow. There is only one thing that is unchangeable, and that is The Lord and His love for you. If you build your life around God Almighty, who created the life within you, who sacrificed His only Son for your sins, you cannot go wrong. He will never leave you, from your childhood until you have fulfilled your days and your spirit returns back to Him. From your beginning to your end, He will be with you.
