Prayer for Today..... Lamb of God, as we enter into the weekend we thank You for health and strength and the ability to labour at our jobs for income over the past six days. With all these blessing, Lord, we thank You for the knowledge that silver and gold – money in our pockets – cannot save us sinners, from sin. So, help us to remember that we can’t be redeemed by tradition and corruptible things but by Your precious blood which was spilt at Calvary for us. May we value the estimate You have put on each our lives and make ourselves available to be washed in Calvary’s fountain and be set free from the bondage of sin so that we may walk in the shadow of the cross, for in that shadow is the light that brightens the path to our eternal home. Thank You for making Hymn of the Day a herald of hope. May our family around the world be actuated by the harmonies of heaven and so yearn to join the heavenly chorus of Moses and the Lamb. Continue to keep all of us in your care and preserve us for the place You have gone to prepare for us, for we are asking in Your holy name and for Your glory. Amen.~ R.b.
