Prayers for my friend Michael. Just learned last night that his mother suffered a mild stroke. She seems to be responding well, though she has gone from a cane, pre stroke to a walker, post. I am really steamed about the hospital, who originally ruled out stroke and heart attack only to diagnose her with a mild stoke two days later. They also did not do an MRI. Be proactive out there, people! If you think something is going on, keep making noise! The squeaky wheel gets oiled. Micheals mom lives in Wisconsin, so he wasnt there when this whole thing started, but some of his siblings were. Thankfully, she doesnt appear to have lost her cognitive skills, and she is regaining some of the movement on the side that started to become paralyzed. Lesson here, we are all in this together, today it may be someone else, tomorrow it could be ourselves.
