Praying for an Outpouring of Pentecost: THE NOTE: This morning I am reminded of the song, “Holy Spirit, rain down, rain down…Comforter and Friend…come and change our hearts while we stand on Your word…Holy Spirit, rain down.” On January 10, 2014, David (VP of WMI) and I had the privilege of hearing Dr. Barbara Wentroble who shared a wonderful report on the church in China. Thousands are receiving the Gospel! Jesus is coming back for a glorious church, and we are the church praying for the church worldwide. (I am an Executive Member of Barbara’s apostolic network, International Breakthrough Ministries.) THE PRAYER: Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for an outpouring of Your Spirit that will be heard around the world…in every tribe and nation. The people will know that You are God and beside You there is no other. We believe that what You have done in other generations, You will do in ours. Revive Your church, and bring a spiritual awakening to the nations and let it begin with us. Lord, we believe that what we ask will be done because Jesus promised that whatever we ask for in prayer, if we do not doubt in our hearts, but believe that we have received it, it will be. In the name of Jesus, we speak to the mountain of darkness: atheism, prejudice, self-centeredness, hatred, greed, doubt and unbelief: Be taken up and thrown into the sea!
