Pres. Aquono is turning the Binays as escape-goats to divert impeachment complaints to Binays corruption. In a statement, Bayan chairperson Carol Araullo said it is “clearly hypocritical” of the administration to attack Binay, while covering up for allies. “It is clearly hypocritical for President Aquino to unleash his attack dogs against VP Binay and other leaders of the opposition, while shielding himself and his allies from similar demands and mechanisms for accountability,” Araullo said. She noted that the administration-led Senate has done three hearings into the allegedly overpriced Makati office and parking building; in contrast, only one hearing has been held on the P144 billion Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP). Totoo naman! At hindi tayo kampi sa corruption ng mga Binays! But Pres. Aquinos corruption is worse! Worst!
