President Goodluck Jonathan will be traveling to Burkina Faso as part of three man delegation of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Heads of State and Government, to help resolve the political crises there. Ironically, he has woefully failed to resolve the crises in Rivers State PDP. Thought charity begins at home? Furthermore, there is a major crisis at hand which is Boko Haram insurgency, that is on the rise. According to Atiku Abubakar (former Vice President of Nigeria), “The extremist sect currently controls two local government areas in Yobe, five in Adamawa and about nine in Borno States”. The President should have stayed back to put his house in order.
