President Jonathans visit to Burkina Faso for peace talks: A leper - TopicsExpress

President Jonathans visit to Burkina Faso for peace talks: A leper should have cured himself first before advising another leper on how to cure leprosy. The leaving of President Jonathan for Burkina Faso to help resolve the political crisis there, at the time the North/Eastern Nigeria is being ravaged by the Boko Haram sect which killed, displaced people and to undermine the sovereignty of Nigerian State, hoisted their flag in towns they captured unresisted by the armed forces, is a wrong timing and unpresidential action against national interests. The president should have channelled his expertise in peace and conflicts resolution towards salvaging his country from the incessant insurgency eating it up, perhaps, the failed or fabricated government/Boko Haram ceasefire truce would have at least returned the abducted girls to their traumatized parents and to prove genuine commitments to peace process, ended the insurgency. But, unfortunately Mr president is quick at quenching the fire on another mans roof when his own roof is on fire too. Charity begins at home, they say.
